Our Purpose
We help people with housing, whether to buy, sell, or rent, that is fair-priced, clean, and safe.
We do this by helping real estate investors buy, sell, and manage single family homes, townhomes, condos, or multi-family properties.
Our Story
Our journey began in January 2007, when we turned our first home into a rental house. From there we began adding more and more properties. However, not satisfied with how the typical operations of the rental homes were, we set out to be constantly improving the home renting experience for our residents.
We continue to use this idea of “Always raising the Bar” in our business today. As we grew our portfolio, we would interact with many other real estate investors. Several of these investors expressed their frustration and how they struggled with the management side of the business. It was then that we quickly realized a need for quality property management in the Springfield market.

Meet the Team
Greg has been an active real estate investor since 2007, President of the Springfield Area Landlord Association since 2013, and a licensed real estate agent since 2016.
In his freetime, Greg enjoys family game nights, church events, travel, and eating at local restuarants.
Since 1978, Vince has been providing excellent guidance for sellers and buyers in Springfield’s real estate market. Vince has his GRI designation and was certified as a relocation specialist.
Investing in real estate is also a passion for Vince as he has 10 rental properties. When he is not working in real estate, he enjoys family time, traveling, golf, motorcycling and reading.
Penny’s career in real estate started in 1995. Her commitment to helping people is a hallmark of not only her real estate career, but also her education and prior employment. Penny graduated from University of Illinois with a double major of psychology and social work, with a minor in special education. Penny has also worked as a drug and alcohol counselor.
Penny loves staging houses for sale in Springfield and worked towards getting her certification in home staging. Penny has already staged numerous homes in the Springfield area and has seen the positive effect on the selling price.
Dowd Sullivan grew up understanding the value of real estate, as farmland has been in his family for over 150 years. When Dowd started his real estate business in 1978, he worked for a larger real estate office until he made the decision to start his own office. Dowd started Springfield Real Estate LLC in 2005.
When Dowd relaxes, he enjoys traveling with his wife and reading.
Jamie has assisted in real estate investing since 2007 while working full time and help raising our 2 boys. In 2019, Jamie joined us full time and uses her previous work experience to benefit our property management.
Jamie likes to exercise, cook, and travel with the family.
Grace is an experienced leasing coordinator who is both passionate and proficient about her duties.
Crystal and her team joined us in December 2021. She is a rental property owner and has over a decade of experience in property management bookkeeping.
